Bonsai of Dan Barton

I love this little piece of pottery. It is a souvenir of a long ago vacation. I was reminded of it while viewing the bonsai pottery link below and dug it out from where it had been stored away.

If you are a perfectionist, you may enjoy practicing the art of bonsai. You can, however, always appreciate it. Dan Barton is quite an artist not only with bonsai but pottery as well.

I always wanted to do this. I missed the workshop at Cheekwood so I tried it on my own. I think I have successfully killed my little Japanese maple. Maybe someday.
