Rushing the Season

Oh, how we love to rush the season. What happened to the tiny, few day old infant? He’ll be leaving home soon. ;) I think I’ll plant some paperwhites. :D

After dipping leaves from the pool all day, and facing an acre of leaves, I had help to come get the leaf situation back under control. Of course, there will be more, but not overwhelmingly so.

The woods are turning gray but the dogwood drupes sparkle it up a bit. Everything wild loves to eat them.

Zebra grass plumes are pretty against the sky whether it is blue or gray. I love to listen to the grasses rustle in the wind.

I can always count on nandina for more red.
